For all Boston fans of the Grammy-award winning Zac Brown Band, summer just got a little hotter. The band, while on their “Down the Rabbit Hole” Live tour, announced that they plan to stay on the road. “The Owl Tour” will run from May through October in support of a new studio album, which includes the single “Someone That I Used to Know.” Part of the tour will be a two-night show in Boston, MA on August 31 and September 1 at the Fenway Park.
“The Owl Tour” kicks off in true summer style on Memorial Day weekend at the Indianapolis 500 Legends Day concert. Zac Brown Band will then travel the country – and play one date in Canada – performing at summer-perfect venues like Coors Field and Fenway Park. They’ll also be playing amphitheaters like Jones Beach in New York and West Palm Beach’s Coral Sky. Among the announced tour dates are appearances at several festivals, including Milwaukee’s Summerfest, the Faster Horses Festival in Brooklyn, MI, and the Iowa State Fair.
Special guests will vary depending on the location and include indie rock band Moon Taxi, the country band Midland, country rock band Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, or performing artists Caroline Jones or Drake White.
Many of the dates will have lawn or general admission/PIT tickets available, with some priced as low as around $38. Seating prices vary by venue and range from about $45 to over $500, depending on how far from the action you are. Select dates include a variety of VIP experiences. These packages include tickets and perks like a pre-concert party with autograph opportunities, VIP lounges, premium seating or early PIT access, and merchandise vouchers. The VIP gold package is around $300 per person, for each mid-level VIP ticket the price is roughly $500, and the highest level is priced at about $700 each.
