Gearing up for the holiday season, multi Grammy Award winning country legends, The Oak Ridge Boys, will kick off this year’s tradition of holiday shows early in November. Fans can expect an eclectic combination of old-fashioned classics along side new music from the group’s recently released 8th Christmas album, Down Home Christmas.
This series of performances is the iconic quartet’s 30th annual Christmas Tour and will highlight fan favorites across all seven of the group’s Christmas albums. The band’s latest collection features original music written by some of country music’s best songwriters, while also including timeless classics like “Silent Night” and “Amazing Grace.” Producer Dave Cobb pushed the Hall of Fame foursome to “dig deep to capture the magic of each song” the band has said.
The Oak Ridge Boys will bring their renditions of Christmas joy to 28 cities, starting with two shows at the Mansion Theatre in Branson, Missouri on November 13th and 14th. Additional stops across the 14-state tour will include Sioux Falls, IA and Park City, KS all the way to North Tonawanda, NY and Greensburg, PA. The final stop will be at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, Illinois on December 22nd.
