Grammy-winning country artist Chris Stapleton is hitting the American roads with his All American Road Show Tour and he couldn’t be more excited to announce that he’s bringing a couple of friends along for the ride.
Although just 18 dates have been announced for March and April, with stops in Las Vegas and the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, a second jam-packed run of the tour will hit 41 cities from Los Angeles to Philadelphia beginning May 5. Major stops include Chicago, New York City, Toronto and Nashville, before the tour wraps up with extended dates in Tampa and Omaha in November. Fans won’t want to miss performances at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver and the Forum in Los Angeles, or special stops at Milwaukee’s Summerfest and Watershed in George, Washington.
Stapleton will be joined on select dates by special guests Brothers Osborne, Lucie Silvas, Brent Cobb, Marty Stuart, Margo Price and Anderson East. He’ll switch roles when he opens for Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers for three shows in June.
The “Broken Halos” singer also has plans to release the follow-up to 2015’s “Traveller,” the best-selling country album last year. The LP soared to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA.
Stapleton made a clean sweep at the County Music Association Awards and walked away with the Academy of Country Music Awards Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. He went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Country Album and Best Country Solo Performance. Lots of Chris Stapleton’s songs have appeared on albums from notable musicians like Brad Paisley, Adele, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan.
